    Can anyone help me on the battery manufacture date? 180911W. I read this as September 11, 2018. Is that how you would read it?

    It’s a 2011, which also makes me thing it’s September 18, 2011 because we have all the service records and nothing shows the 12v being replaced. It was serviced at the dealership for every single thing, so my thought is that they would have had that done there as well and there would be a record.

    any help welcome.

    Which one sounds right? It’s either a battery from 2012, or 2018...

    The code is Day of the month, month and then year.

    So....180911 is 18th day of September, 2011.

    I have 2 batteries on the shelf in the shop, they are:

    231215W = 23rd day of December, 2015

    070712W= 7th day of July, 2012

    Thank you for replying! I had a sneaking suspicion that it was an original battery!
