Hello just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on how to resolve this problem it's there a few months and I don't know how to fix it there is no warranty on the car. Would be greatful If anyone could help me to resolve this problem. We took the car apart and basically found the error with the fan it's not working. When you connect the battery to the fan it's working perfectly. The fan motor resistor is overheating is this the problem? Or should it be very hot.

    Regards, louise

thanks we were looking at it as well, we cannot understand if the battery blower controller that is inside the cover should be hot or not because it's piping hot to touch is this normal? When we clear the warnings and test the fan this blower controller just keeps getting hotter and hotter and the warning lights reappear.

Yep. It gets pretty hot. That's why it's mounted in the exhaust duct because even hot air blowing past it can cool it.

Hot doesn't mean it's good or bad. Follow the diagnostics.

or just pick up a new one and replace it. if that doesn't work, maybe replace the relay?
