Battery voltage of my prius prime advanced after 1 month

    The last has happened numerous times

    The dealership does not know what the fans are for.

    If the car is parked, NOT in ready, fans will not operate
    Fans are to prevent overheating of the Hybrid battery.

    From time to time my car is OFF, parked in the garage with the plug connected but not charging, and I hear a fan going toward the rear of the car. It has to be powered by the 12 volt battery. Never caused a problem yet.

    Could be the fans for the main battery. Also, I think it’s the brake accumulator comes on periodically to maintain brake pressure. Since I’m partially deaf, I live in a fairly silent world.

    I am hard of hearing & have tinnitus. A fairly silent world would be am improvement for me.

    I too usually avoid commenting on Prius noises.
