    Hey guys,
I work at a Toyota dealership and currently drive a 2010 Prius 2.
We just had a customer trade in their 2013 prius3 with a 180,000 miles.
The interior was a little dirty, the back bumper was a little messed up and the mileage was high.
It was sent to wholesale lot.
I drove it home last night and it drives amazing it's a one owner Prius!
My only concern is the Hybrid battery on it.
On my 2010 the hybrid battery picture fills up.
This one seems to struggle to get all the way filled. Is this a concern?
This picture is after a 20 min ride to work.
    Thanks guys! 20200616_085727.jpg 20200616_085727.jpg

You work at a Toyota dealership and don't know about the hybrid battery?
Are you a new employee? Not being sarcastic, just curious.

You said it was sent to a wholesale lot, how did you drive it home?

180,000 miles is nothing. I have 204,000 and still going strong. Battery behavior
has not changed since I got it at 116,000 miles.
    Mine is a 2, 2010.

It will extremely rare, if ever, that you will get it at the top. It will stay between
20% and 80%. This is normal.

    What is asking price?

Seems like it would be a great deal. You can always hook up Tech Stream and do a
hybrid battery health check. Also, check the 12 volt battery. A weak 12v battery will throw all kinds of errors.

Supposing the price is low, you've got a fine deal there. And if you jump on top of that deal, I must say you're in for a treat as far as car ownership goes. I had the Gen II Prius, we bought it new in '08 and I sold it in '15, 150K on it, and still going strong. I could have easily kept it until 200k, it was a great car. Now I've bought the Gen III, and I'm enjoying it so far. What you'll find is the Prius is a generally very reliable, extremely steady vehicle. Regular oil changes and filter changes on the first one, with zero issues I'm happy to report. Couple of minor issues with the 2nd one (My air conditioner blows hot air when the gas engine kicks in) but overall very satisfied.
