Anyone have experience with HD Polyethylene jack pads to shield the v's pinch-weld side jacking points? What's the best product/source out there? TIA

Or look for alternate support points?

There was a second Gen owner (hobbit?) posted some pics of alternatives for the front pinch weld pics. Got me motivated to find both front and rear loc's (for 3rd gen): nearby the pinch welds, but much more sturdy and stable.

I misread the op's question: I always use the front or rear jacking points, it's safety stands I was thinking about, and alternate bearing points.
