Dealership wants $4688 installed, apparently just out of warranty (sigh).

I'm handy enough to replace it, looking for a new battery or new modules.

It says pre-order is closed but send an email to them. The battery manufacturer is in Taiwan I looked it up and Guam is not very far. May drop ship? (Should ask @jacktheripper)...

One of the few parts that are the same as the hatchback. Engines the same.. trani and the front and rear shocks different...
even the hubs are different. The headlight housing are different, including the complete master cylinder and pump aren't interchangeable.

Before you spend ANY money on a battery.......try giving the Toyota warranty help line a call.
Make sure the dealer is not giving you some bum information.
And then tell them that you noticed it acting funny for the last 6 months or so before it finally failed completely.
Sometimes they will extend the warranty a few weeks.
Sometimes not. Certainly worth a try.
