Bike Racks!

    I'm curious if the hitch type bike racks allow you to open the hatch? While not essential, it would be a plus.

    From what I've read, the Curt hitch is superior to Coastal's because it's less likely to bend. Is the installation difficult? Uhaul is charging like $220 installed but I see the Curt online for $130. That's a lot for installation!

    Installation is very easy very very easy just need to have a torque wrench to tighten the new bolts

    a floor jack to hold it in place is good to have also unless able to hold it up and put in the bolts

    if I can do it anyone can

    The racks stick out far enough for the hatch to open. One was ably demonstrated at the last NJ Prius meet.
