    Hello again,

I was just looking around PC and noticed that people were talking about removing the radiator cover to access the radiator cap, etc. Am I supposed to have this cover?? What the heck??

But, really...Is it bad that I don't have one?

    Thanks!

Haha, ok! Just a little overreaction. I can indeed see the cap, and I can unscrew it to look at the radiator level.

I can't get a pic until light, but will.

not sure why the cover is there, or if it's important.

Radiator cover helps to seal the cap between hood and radiator support. It reduces water getting into the engine bay in some situations. I ones washed my Prius without it being on and it was clear that there was lot more water on some parts in engine bay. Also theoretically that panel reduces fuel consumption by lowering the air resistance by reducing the (unwanted (not though radiator)) air flow though engine bay.

But anyways it’s not critical. But then I would imagine that used one would be super cheap in the US.
