Sounds fishy to me. More likely the NetFlix people visit their P.O. box first thing in the morning, and perhaps again during the day, and carry the mail back to their scanners. I cannot see the P.O. in every city with a NetFlix warehouse, opening their mail, and doing their scanning for them.

    Screw the extra charge.

Don't they realize? People use the online variety so they don't
spend hours browsing a store trying in vain to find something
they might actually watch before they have to bring it back.

    Off-topic (sort of):

I have both. Most of the time, if one doesn't have what I'm looking
    for, the other does.

I have found Netflix to be slightly faster and quite a bit more organized.

I still have a movie that Blockbuster conveniently forgot they had sent to me.

"City of Lost Children" was good, and then it got even better.

    FREE STUFF ROCKS!

While I do rent from Netflix they are slow for new releases. So those I rent from my local pharmacy.
I asked when theyd be getting "Bobby".
They said its a Weinstein film and those films are not available for rental except at Blockbuster.
I imagine there will be more exclusive deals in the future.
