After I replaced my break light switch, my car will not go into ready mode and the break lights do not work. After checking all of the fuses to see if one was blown, the 7.5 fuse one under the steering column for smart key was in fact blown. I put in a new fuse and there is still no luck starting up my car. Any ideas on what could be the problem? I don't want to take it into a shop if I don' have to. Thank you.

Are you sure the brake light switch you replaced was good?

you obviously jacked up the switch replacement. car wont start unless the brake lights come on.

First time in 13 years heard the brake light switch needed to be replaced. You sure the brake bulbs out back arent bad and swx was really
    ok?
test the swx with an ohmeter when you got it out? I bet its ok.
