    Hello,

I am looking to put an after market bluetooth connectivity into my 2007 prius.

I currently use a fm transmitter but its cumbersome and the quality is terrible!

What options do I have? My auto electrician suggests I get one with an amplifier so he can splice the outputs directly into the speaker system.

Has anyone done this? what model is the right one to get.

I have a Huawei mate 9 for the phone if that impacts the model type also

    Thanks
    Chris

I created an account just to answer your question.

If you don't have navigation or a CD changer built into the car, you can use a product from GTA Car Kits (Bluetooth and iPhone/iPod/AUX Kits for Toyota Prius 2010-2011). I can't post the URL because my account is new.

It plugs into the CD input. I have a 2009 Prius and have been using their Prius 2 version of the product for a couple of years.
