    Still scratchin my head . . . . very short read - and statements that don't say why the statement is true;
    So - on the one hand, other manufacturers ought to be 'shamed' . . . . and yet on the other hand, he's making an excuse why their choice isn't flying of the shelf ... ie; low gas prices. If gas prices are the barometer for high or low sales (ie; not the poor economy, etc) - how would he reconcile over 400K people lining up & clunking down $1,000 for the Model 3 ... not yet even in production.

    they would say people put down (refundable) deposits to impress their friends, but won't buy unless gas prices go up.;)

    And though I've said it all before
    I'll say it once again........

    If gas prices go UP, we "save" *way* more $$$ than most.
    If gas prices go DOWN, we "save" even *more* $$$ than that!
