Bolts out but lower control arm won't come out

Not sure if it's overkill, but the reinstall procedure in the attachment gets pretty involved about the retorque, and recommends front end alignment after. It says to temporarily install the two main bolts with the vehicle raised, lower the vehicle, bounce the front end a few times, then torque to 172 ft/lb. I'm curious how you'd do that without raising it again, for access. Perhaps it's ok to??
