    That's normal, no cause for alarm.

    Good move. It never occurs to me to buy anything but OEM. This is not something you do often; and not a big price difference.

    I think you will find from many of us "seasoned" automotive do it at home people, that we have learned that cheap isn't always better. This is one reason that I will buy a new Toyota main battery instead of one of the "refurbished" one. I just don't want any chances.

    There is nothing wrong with quality name brand aftermarket parts.

    true, but only if you know which aftermarket parts are quality. My supposedly OEM Napa gold brake pads were complete shite. The Toyota ones are smooth and silent and cost $40.
