Brake Pads wearing crooked???

    Thanks Mendel. Reading your past posts on brake maintenance procedure, I made sure that the X was properly aligned. I followed @NutzAboutBolts videos on caliber slide pin maintenance and brake pad replacement. :D

    It probably was... Although I an not the original owner. Yes I was aware of the brake inspection schedule via reading PC. Just procrastinated. :(

    Still, check the rear brakes for excessive drag.

    I haven't completely got my head around what's going on, but my sense is: you really want to ensure that the brakes get well seated, with the piston in that X orientation. Avoid using the parking brake (which will try to rotate the piston), pump the brake pedal multiple times, then take short test drive. Then do parking brake apply/release a few times. Then raise the rear and check the wheel spin.

    Trust but verify, lol.
