Hit a pothole, and Brake, ABS, (!), and VSC come on. 30-40 miles later lose all brake pressure.

Just a week ago, was reading about common actuator fails on the chat, and my 2006 with 125k on the clock seemed like a ripe candidate.

Boy was I wrong. My indie shop took one look at the rear drum and saw it was cracked and leaked all my brake fluid I still don't quite understand what happened and how potholes can "reach up" and damage the drum assembly. Nor do I understand where exactly the fluid leak out from. Glad I didn't have to shell out the big money for the actuator. Word to the wise! Don't jump the gun and assume the worse.

probably a loose impediment in the pothole bounced up, not hard to imagine
