Brakes are touchy

    when my rear brakes got out of adjustment they were grabby. this might not be the op's problem but a brake inspection should be free or inexpensive at an honest independent shop. I will occasionally take the drums off, knock the dust into the trash can, and tighten em up a few clicks if they need it.
