Took the 2008 in for the 80,000 mile service today. The dealer told me the brake pads were still at 80%. Ya gotta love regenerative braking. I told him we don't use the breaks but he chuckled then tried to tell me how regen works.

I wish I would make that. Seems around here there are so many pot holes and bumps in the road that more often than not my regen kicks out when I'm stopping as a "safety" for the antilocks.

My 2004 is at 196,000 miles on the original brakes and there's still life left in the pads.
