Yeah, but it'll have to be done be a professional sillyness evaluator, capable of judging silliness objectively.

The tire valve caps have to be neodymium magnets. The magnets revolving with the tires create a rotating, moving magnetic field which induces eddy currents in the fuel as it moves through the field from the gas tank up to the engine. These eddy currents result in a 99% fuel-burn efficiency in the engine, raising mpg from the typical 45 to 60 mpg range, up to 333 mpg, plus or minus about 33 mph. But it only works if you have the OEM plate installed, because the annodyzed aluminum of the BT Plate throws the fields from the 4 caps out of phase, negating the effect.

I can address the question about 21 lbs vs. 17 lbs of torque. As an experiment, I did a double blind study. My wife torqued one side of the plate to 17 lbs and the other side to 21 lbs for one week but did not tell me which side was which. The left side was noticable tighter and handled better, often making it around left turns before the right side completed the turn. Then the next week, she reversed the sides that were torqued to 21 lbs and 17 lbs. This second week, the right side was noticably handling better, on right turns, the right side was completing the turn tighter than the left side could do.

Then my wife revealed the results. 17 lbs is definately better.

Come to think of it, my hands are taking a bit of a "hard annodized Type III mil spec finish to them" :) :) :)

.....not if you place a copper bracelet around the BT Plate to dissipate the field and inhance the additional gravity pull whilst traveling southbound

Yeah, but then you have to remove the copper bracelet while travelling northbound. You wanna get out and under the car with a bracelet wrench every time you turn a corner?

I ended up leaving the copper bracelet off altogether. For some reason, through induction, it kept the battery in the top green all the time.

Now, I've noticed a tendency for this program to get rather silly. Now I do my best to keep things moving along, but I'm not having things getting silly. Those two last sketches I did got very silly indeed, and that last one about the bed was even sillier. Now, nobody likes a good laugh more than I do ... except perhaps my wife and some of her friends. Oh yes and Captain Johnston. Come to think of it most people likes a good laugh more than I do. But that's beside the point. Now, let's have a good clean healthy outdoor sketch. Get some air into your lungs. Ten, nine, eight and all that.

Brian, I have a great idea for a custom BT Plate. Why not advertise a "personal" BT Plate. Since, I'm sure that the equipment that machines the slots and designs in the plate is computer controlled, why not offer to machine the customers PriusChat 'handle' into one side of the plate? This would most certainly add to the overall Mojo and increase the level of delusion, thereby improving performance even further.

And we can get it to go up much faster, if everyone comments on the current count. Personally I'm a little disappointed that the other thread wasn't allowed to reach at least 6 factorial, or preferably 1000.

I don't know. Maybe they're very quick at installing and/or removing the plate. Or perhaps they wear protective clothing (rubber gloves, etc.).

Maybe someone should design a quick release mount for the plate. Sort of like the quick release anti-roll bars on off-road rigs. Would make the double-blindfolded tests much easier.

I think I could do a swap in less than 5 minutes now. :)

    1. Back up the car onto the ramps
    2. Use a power drill to remove the bolts
    3. Drill in the other plate, torque to spec
    4. Roll off the ramp and test.

That may be true, but the GREEN valve caps make a big difference. :p

Its amazing how much effort some people will put into trying to disprove what millions of others already know! They must be really cheap. Just go out and buy the $60 flaps and you'll see for yourself that they work. I noticed it from the moment I installed them, how mud literally leapt from my path.

As far as I'm concerned, if you don't own mud flaps, then you have no right to post about them, because you can't possibly assess whether they work until AFTER you pay for them! But don't be cheap!

    Your tests prove nothing... ;)
