RATS! I just missed being the 800th poster.

But - I was the 800th replier! Is replier a word like "decider"?

Interesting how the aftermarket evolves. Especially since I just received my TOM'S rear suspension brace kit. But I am not complaining.... BTW, how is your rear suspension brace kit working out? Still think it is the BT Tech Stiffening plate on steroids? With any luck, I should have the rear suspension brace kit on my car this week or next at the latest.... Anticipation builds....

Or, perhaps it is spelled: replyer? (Especially if you want to continue the tradition of mangling the English language.)

Just got my BT Plate installed by a self-proclaimed mechanic that just happens to be dating my daughter...every family needs one of those....7 minutes later, that is all it took to install it, no need to even jack up the car, could have not been easier, and I felt the difference already, even before I sat into the car :)
Seriously....I did feel a more sturdier ride as I drove off this bumpy dirt road after it was installed. Can't wait to try it out on the highway.
Just came back from a 3000 mile trip, a week ago, found the car being whooshed to the side whenever a tractor trailer went by, and also during a windy day on I-95 going through Georgia. Very anxious to try it out now with the BT Plate.

LOL!.. I was wonderin if that was my cue!....
I'm not sure what cyclone means though.... I thought he liked the plate after being a skeptic?

Many times misunderstandings get the ball rolling... I was just hangin waiting for someone to clear the air.

It could be in reference to the daughter's B.F. that claims to be a mechanic....

But seriously, it has been awhile since there was a good controversy on this thread.... So, anyone holding back - have at it! On our way to 900 posts.... Will it be sooner or later????

Not sure whose defense I should come to, my daughter's B.F. or mine....
He happens to be a great mechanic, the knowledge is there, and so is the work, I think he should go out there and start his own business.
As far as me...I am just keeping an open mind about the plate, otherwise I wouldn't have gone through with the expense. Since I don't travel much, I won't know for sure, need a few weeks, have to plan a trip somewhere. Anyways, I can't imagine putting the original back on regardless. What does one do with it anyways?

Oh, this could be a great topic for discussion - alternative uses for the OEM plate after the BT plate has been installed. Lets not hold back on the creativity!

Didn't anybody notice the "smiley" after my comment. The comment was just an "homage" to the various placebo effect trolls that loiter in the area.

yea, but the skeptics say if you bought it.. you already made up your mind and are therefore doomed to placebo effect!

Of course by the fact they "can't and won't" buy.. they too are doomed to not seeing the obvious.

The stock plate makes a good cheese grater for monolithic slabs of cheese that Costco likely sells. :)
