    Thanks for responding Brian. I was just curious as to why there is such a difference in price.
    From the pictures, yours looks a lot nicer than the other one.

    Brian's are very nice. I've been riding on mine for quite some time now, and other on here even longer. Its a very nice addition (mod) to the Prius. I couldn't imagine the car without it now. If I trade in on the next Gen, that will be the first mod I make.

    I think that it is important to know that the VAST majority of people that have purchased a BT Tech stiffening plate have been extremely satisified with their purchase.

    Without going into specifics, we have sold a large number of our stiffening plates all over the world. The satisfaction rate from our customers has been excellent and the relatively few that voice their negative comments are the VAST minority.

    While it is nearly impossible to please everyone, I can honestly say that we do our best to provide the Prius' community with the best performing/quality products and customer support.

    Just to avoid any confusion, I am an avid supporter of the BT Tech plate. Best mod I have ever done to any car. That is why my previous rant ended with "Does So" just before "The End"

    I've said it elsewhere... I'll say it here.
    In my reading over of this VAST thread, my impression is that the BT stiffening plate has a more noticeable impact on the handling of the standard model Prius than it does the touring model.

    That is not to say that the touring model doesn't receive benefit from it, but that it may be a bit more subtle, and only noticeable to those that are a bit more "performance" orientated.

    Just my two cents' worth.

    does anyone know about juicedhybrid. com's chassis stiffener plate? its a bit cheaper than the BT. Im sure there are tradeoffs. I wanna knowwhat they are and if i can live with them.

    BT Tech Stiffening Plate still available?

    This item has been on Back Order on the Prius Chat website for over 6 months now. I was promised the first one when they became available again.

    Starting to think my $$ would be better spent on the $53 G7 Stiffening Plate being sold on eBay.....

    I have alloy chassis plate for sale from my gen 2
    ....now that I moved on to gen 3
    pm if your interested

    UK and euro prius owners can have also but post extra of course
