Building the Prius in Mexico?

Well, I stopped in at the nearby Toyota dealership yesterday to have a look at the GIV. No Prius in the showroom. Asked the salesperson who immediately approached me (remembering that Alberta's economy is based on oil - it's a bloodbath here right now). He tells me he'll check with the sales manager to see when they will be coming in. Comes back a few minutes later to tell me two months before they get the first one.
Asks me if I'm interested it buying one and I say "my current 2012 Prius has 24,000 km on it so no, I just want to look at one".
Asks me if I would consider a "new 2015 model". I repeat above statement. He looks deflated.
