    When you hit a bump/pothole, weight briefly comes off one or more of the tires causing them change speed compared to the rest. This is what ABS/VSC monitors rather aggressively and triggers the light and intervention--momentary loss of braking action if braking or loss of power if accelerating. It's been well discussed in Prius circles since Gen 2.
