I finally got to taste this culinary delight last night. You're right. Nothing special. It tasted like a whopper with a sweeter bun. I did prefer the taste better than a regular Whopper but the meal price with onion rings rang up at $9.38. To expensive for me. If that is regular price these days, please excuse a feeble old man that still remember value meals at $2.99. I'm still waiting for the other surprise...

Ah, I think you and I were the only ones here stup -- errr -- I mean brave enough to eat this thing.

But for awhile there, I really thought they had discontinued them.

Yes, I was also surprised at the $9 price tag, although I only had lowly fries.

I have to admit, I remember when you could get your McDonald's hamburger for 15 cents. And, if you walked up to the counter out of the blue and ordered 10 of them, they would have them in the bag in ready for you before the register had closed out your order. Ah, the days of heat lamps....

Considering they don't seem to taste any better made to order, I don't know why they don't bring back the heat lamps?

McDonald's was my first job and I remember the heat lamps. I think the reason they got rid of it is the the idea of "made to order" seems fresh. The amount of preservatives pumped into it, you could probably leave it out all day and it'll taste the same.

I am Vulcan. It poo dark neon green. I was expecting ruffage green but now I see why you were alarmed. :censored: You prepared me and I read the articles but I did not expect to see that.

There's a line in Madagascar from an old grannie: "I'm not gonna stay out in the open and get attacked by more animals. I'm too old to die."
