Buttons not in the manual

    That is not an ambient temperature sensor, it is a solar radiation sensor. I am not sure if it actually senses infared light, or if it quickly heats up in the sun. When it does sense solar heat, it will increase the AC output to lower the 'feels like' temperature in the cabin. Ever notice the fans ramp up when a cloud that was giving you shade goes away?

    So if it is a solar radiation sensor, then would not the state inspection sticker interfere with its' operation?

    shade would definitely affect a solar sensor
