"Buy American" author now taking shots at Toyota

    I was responding to the author quoted in the original post, whose center theme seems to be 'buy American'.
    I suppose I could have said, 'I will buy from the country that the author quoted in the original post proposes people buy from'. But that seemed a bit long winded.
    And yes, I would also consider buying from a foreign company that builds an EV or, if EVs are not available the best mileage vehicle.

    They did, but they killed it to avoid the CARB EV standard
