Hi guys. I have no problems with the potential likely failures of such vehicles.
I tend to get lot of such vehicles imported from North America, to Lagos, Nigeria.
I have being in the business of refurbishing, and fixing such kinda vehicles.
Could any of the forum members please suggest a link, or address, either in USA, or Canada, where one could order for or bid such "dead" vehicles?
How much do you think such kinds of vehicles are sold?

    Thanks

Wow ... what's typically involved in getting a non-running 1400 kg car delivered from US to Nigeria?

Sounds like a project all in itself.

Find someone on this side with access to wholesale auctions...then find a good shipper.

Maybe ask the moderator to move this to the MarketPlace: Prius Cars for Sale, or start a new thread there.
Title: WTB NON-Running Prius (bad engine/transaxle/HV Battery) from auction.

Someone will know someone who buys/sells cars at auction.

if the cars are coming from a USA port, you'll spend a fortune to ship them to Lagos. On the other hand, if the container comes from the UK you can probably float a 40' for under $1500USD

How many dead Priuseses can you fit in a container?

Actually I mean just the cost of the container, regardless of what's in it. USA to Nigeria is much more expensive than UK to Nigeria.

Just an expensive route, I guess.

    Copart.com.

What does it cost you in shipping to get it from the US to Nigeria? I'd imagine at least $3000. And what are they worth out there running? Doesn't seem profitable after all the fees?
