I've seen at least two 'EV commentators' on YouTube who are skeptical or questioning about EV makes and models who have openly advocated for the "Byron", a PowerPoint EV. Rather than make a casual accusation, I would recommend 'EV advocates' found on YouTube have their recent postings checked. If "Byron" is part of their recent history ... well perhaps a grain of salt is advised.

Is it possible there's some mixup somewhere?

Searching on 'byron' (with an r), I'm mostly finding information about a shire on Byron Bay in Australia that has an ambitious plan for going zero emissions.

Changing the r to a t, I am finding some references to a Byton Electric Car, and maybe the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show.

Sorry, typos and autocorrections are often difficult to spot:

    Yes it is "Byton".
