C-SPAN 'transportation issues' Wed. Nov. 26

    Wednesday morning, C-SPAN will have a program that includes 'transportation issues.' Things to look for:

    • "Bell the Hybrid" nonsense
    • False hybrid claims (aka., they aren't profitable)
    • Bailout
    Just a heads up for those still up or reading this in the morning.

    They had a Washington Post reporter, Lyndsey Layton, who was there to discuss the larger, Department of Transportation (DoT) appointment. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is a major department under the DoT. Bigger issues include an $8 B. shortfall in the highway fund that Congress allocated in September.

    I sent an e-mail to C-SPAN Journal but I didn't expect to see and sure enough, it was not presented. FYI, the NHTSA administrator changed Sept. 2, suggesting the current political appointees are leaving while the leaving is good.
