    Suggests to me that instead of having a 400(?) LB engine mounted up above the axles they have 400(?) Lbs worth of batteries mounted under the floor boards.

    google says tesla model s is 1200pounds. i would ecpect gm to be more? i suppose it depends on range

    Tesla cells have metal cases. I think most of the GM EVs have used pouch cells; a plastic bag case.

    I vote no, because they never sold those. The lease-only deal was enough for me to say that that car's epitaph was written into its announcement press release. Besides, that wasn't even the same company. GM pre 2009 and post 2009 have similar names but are nowhere near the same thing.

    The first GM BEV that was for purchase was the Spark EV, that started with the 2014 model year.
