What's the update on HOV stickers?
They said it looks good for extension, so they continue to accept applications waiting for approvals. How many have applied? Anything new?
Decision needed by June so we need some bills proposed.

time to build more public transportation, instead of more freeway lanes. and put in tolls to discourage personal vehicle use.

    Higher than what?
As a group all new car buyers have higher income than average.
Most Prius owners are new car buyers

But not all new car buyers are getting the freebee. HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lanes are not "I'm Special" lanes. Occupancy rules for the HOV apply to all private vehicles, demographics and income levels thereby reducing the congestion and pollution because there are less vehicles on the road. The very small percentage of applicable "special vehicles" is so small that any measurable exhaust difference is practically nil...yet congestion is not addressed...in fact this rewards single occupancy drivers.
