Nope; but it would be something that Agent 007, James Bond might want.

Not; a person with road rage might fantasize on having what this is designed to attach to.

    a scope?
If so, it's pretty cool. Can't tell from the photo - did you leave the lens in?
    If I'm correct - do I win it? :)

    Nope; not a scope...

It's unique, and I'm keeping it for myself.

It was designed and first manufactured in World War I, but very few made it to the front, before the war ended.

It would be ad a nice item for one into guns and a veteran who served in WWII, Korea and the early years of the Vietnam War.

I have a head space and timing gauge from a Ma Deuce, but they did away with the .30 cal (M1919A4) before I got my 782 gear, so if it's a piece off of 'that' 1919, I'm not sure what piece that would be.....maybe the handle.

The Tommy didn't make WW-once (M1927?) and the BAR (also deleted prior to me) was an M1918 'light' machine gun....even though it wasn't particularly 'light' and used the same cartridge as the .30 cal 'medium' machine gun first came out with (the Browning .30 cal was also chambered in 7.62 NATO and about a half dozen other flavours.)

    Warm?

Close; An earlier version was used in 1918 during the last months of WWI. The part fits that one, too.

They had some strange grenade launchers back then, but we used either M203s or a MK-19.

Nope; It has nothing to do with grenades.

The inventor's parents owned a gun shop in Nauvoo, Illinois.
