Made the mistake of doing a full drain and refill on my transmission fluid at 180k. There is now a slight hum/vibration when the engine is on. Which functions can I check using an ELM327 that could help me diagnose?

    Welcome to Prius chat(y).

    Some questions:
    • How many quarts of fluid did you put back after draining?
    • What fluid did you use?
    • Any dash lights on?
    • Is the noise or vibration only on when the engine is on?
Good luck and keep and keep us posted (y).

I got it done at a shop so I'm not sure if they refilled the full 4 or the exact same amount that was drained, but I can get that info if its important. I know sometimes less than 4 will drain out. I made sure they used Toyota fluid.

There are no dash lights. And yes, only slight noise/vibration when the engine is on. It speeds up as I speed up and slows down when I slow down.

    Thanks for answering!

Also, I have driven the car for two weeks with no dash light, including two longer drives, around an hour and a half each.
