Obviously not everyone has evil cabal or demonic nazi tyrant on their nice person....

Does anyone have a way to deflect hacks?

It sounds like its hitting the car. It could be something around me, also, my phone. The phone has used bluetooth, wifi, and the obd2 port.

I assume the question is about how to prevent tampering with the car by means of the Controller Area Network (CAN) buses used for communication among its computers. See my postings in these previous threads:
If you’re not confident in your phone’s security, consider un-pairing it from the car.
