    When I first picked up my car I got accustomed to hitting park before power so now it's second nature. Really, it doesn't take all that much time away from my busy schedule to hit one more button.

    Spend a half hour reading the "Before you drive" section of the manual before you drive, and then read the rest soon after.

    Richard, I must admit that reading the 'before you drive' section of the manual before I drive would make sense :? I will make sure to look for it.
