Looks like the deluxe model is the same except has a case and from a different seller for 40 percent more...

Do you know what the difference is between these 2? They look identical. The Jumbl has only 23 reviews while the PowerAll has 239. I'm thinking about getting one before our trip later this month.

They look exactly the same to me as well. I'm thinking they just rebranded one and that they come from the same manufacturer.

The PowerAll website shows a deluxe model for $40 more, with the following extra features:
    • Professional Grade Smart Jumper Cable w/Anti-Voltage Feedback Protection
    • Heavy-Duty Carrying Case
Perhaps the anti-voltage means you wouldn't have to snatch the cables off within 10 seconds (as their use instructions otherwise indicate).

Don't think so.... They don't want the car alternator seeing the low internal resistance of the LiIon is my guess.

There's probably a diode, among other things inside that red box on the positive wire to prevent back flow of current to the Powerall unit/battery.

But is that worth an extra $32 on Amazon?

Nope, the components probably less than a few dollars. Go figure.
