hmm... i tripled checked...

doesn't say anything in the inventory about extra charge for the hypersonic... they must've decided at the last minute to not do the up charge

 

I just checked the Toyota Build site just now and it showed $395 USD premium for Blizzard Pearl and Hypersonic Red.

 

I'm glad I like the Prius in red, and my current '08 is red. The red color camouflages the ugly (in my opinion, and most others) rear end of the Gen. IV a bit. If it's more expensive by $395.00 no problem. I think I paid $700.00 for the red option for my Volt, so the $395.00 is a bargain.

 

Hum, the toyota build site isn't working if I use my NC zip code, it tries to show me 2015s. I have been wondering for a while if they have an upcharge for the Sea Glass color. Let me use a fake California zip code and see if I have better luck.

Yup, 90210 worked! It looks like no upcharge on the Sea Glass Peral! Score.

 

NC has a different distribution so they might be getting them a little later but also they want to sell out the 2015s first.

 

I think it looks really nice in "MAGNETIC GRAY METALLIC".
