Im guessing not because ive been through every menu, but maybe i missed it.
I dont like the info display flipping between whatever info i have up and the cruise control display... especially since that display doesnt seem to give any info... i know my speed setting and i know if a car is in front of me.

On the Gen 4 you can turn off the popup instructions that appear when you turn DRCC on (& off?), but not the other popups without disabling DRCC :(

there are 2 different pop-up reasons:
    1. LDA - you are about to get out of your lane or switching lanes without blinking/turn signal
    2. Radar (DRCC) detects a car or you are getting to close to the car in front of you
If you like LDA &DRCC - you will have to live with these pop-ups
    you can disable LDA
you can use regular CC instead of DRCC

Toyota watches these forums so you can also say it should be different.

I have no problem with Lda popups, i want them.

i have the distance set to max, so very far from the car in front of me... the display seems to cycle on a timer.

but ill pay attention and see if it stays away with no car in front.

I've been on long trips with no car in front of me for miles and the pop-ups not popping up ... but the radar might detect other things, hence the pop-up.

I'm not arguing that it is annoying, it bugs me, but ... even if Toyota watches this forum does not mean that they will take any action, best example might be the sun visor that you flip to the side and it is no longer a sun visor, you cannot extend it, pathetic that a plastic extender (cost $0.20???) that even other Toyota cars have has not made it into the Prius for 15+ years, despite feedback on this forum and in surveys ...
