Yeah. what ya mean by oversight? It's like the owners manual where all models are mixed together and it's up to the owner to figure out for themselves, or with the dubious help of other in the forums, exactly which features are included or excluded from the model they own.

Methinks it's a US model that they "stole" to showcase it here in Canada. It's possible there aren't any Canadian-spec cars yet. (even in Toyota Canada's fleet).

Those are some sexy 19" wheels though. I can't wait to read here at PC, about those that ditch them to mount 22"ers because the can and they look sexier.

Might be right, then again the US spec vehicle hasn't even been released yet. Toyota Canada hasn't even listed possible options for each trim for the Prius Prime. The Solar Roof is an option in the US, not part of a package.
From the video there's the single 120V 1500W button at 1:26 left and below the steering wheel and the outlet is shown in the left side of the hatch area at 2:29.

Use that email address shown by @Mendel Leisk to ask for the Solar Glass Roof as an option. Make sure you spell it exactly as Toyota would or else they'll sort it into an unknown item list to be analyzed later, if ever.

Has anyone found or know where the 12 volt is? I at first thought it might be just to the passenger side and a towards the firewall a few inches from the air filter box. Looking closer that looks like the inverter, to me anyway. Than really small black square cover with the big yellow label... 12 volt moved into the hatch again?

Pretty sure it's in the back just like the regular Prius. There's a battery-sized box in the back right of the cargo area, passenger side.

^Sounds like the same box shown here: excerpt from 5th gen Prius Owner's Manual, doubt the Prime (Owner's Manual not available yet) would be different:

The only thing that makes me not 100% certain is that the Prius battery box has a noticeably sloped top, while the Prime box seems to be a more flat top. I still think it's the battery, but I can't be 100%.

Typically, there are no options for the Prius in Canada - just trim levels and sometimes packages. We've never had a la carte options.

The Gen 1 was offered with all the standard equipment (CC was standard but side airbags were never offered)

Gen 2 had one base model and one or two packages (Package "B" or Premium Package and Package "C" or Navigation Package). Kinda like the U.S.

Gen 3 had one base model and three packages (Premium, Touring, and Technology) - Stuck with the Gen 2 style arrangement instead of the U.S. move to trim levels with One through Five).

Gen 4 had three trim levels (base, Touring, and Technology) with an Upgrade Package on the base model and an Advanced Package on the Technology trim level.

Just as well you guys aren't getting the Solar Glass Roof option. From Creative Trends website, if you ordered the Solar Glass Roof the wait is 2 years in Japan and the cost is ¥290,000 (~$2,233 US, ~$2998 CAD), cough . Probably why the dealers decided against offering it.

I think that is around the price of the solar roof on the gen4 Prime.

I have seen the document which was excerpted in the first post of this thread. That one page covers most of it.
It seems there won't be any options for the Canadian Prius Prime; just the three trim levels. No prices yet. No solar panel.
    Colours!
You can have any colour, as long as it's black.

The SE is available in "Wind Chill Pearl" (extra cost), "Cutting Edge Silver", "Guardian Gray", "Midnight Black Metallic", "Supersonic Red" (extra cost).
The XSE is also available in "Reservoir Blue" which online looks pretty nice. Very deep.
The XSE Premium, in addition to the above, is available in... duh duh duh MUSTARD. I'm vacillating between white & blue.
And since Mendel asked, the tire repair kit is included. (I don't know how to do a mention.)

I am shocked that Toyota is offering such a wide range of colors.
Just put an @ in front of the poster's name. The default comment editor does the rest.

We are, on the XSE premium. Don't have the trophy wife to pull it off, myself.
