Car turned off suddenly, won't restart or go into ready mode

    Didn’t you try something to reduce oil burn? Like Marvel Mystery Oil or something? Did it work?

    Never did anything. The Prius mechanic guy who fixed my inverter today said he could do the work, so I will be taking it in sometime in the next 2 months to get the oil problem fixed. Will update on the other posting. Currently at 253,839 reported miles. Noticed the ODO doesn't move when the instrument cluster is off.

    Summary:
    Car suddenly died with no warning. Wouldn't turn back on.

    Problem:
    Blown Am2 fuse
    Bad inverter cooling pump

    Solution:
    Had Matt replace the bad inverter cooling pump
    Replaced fuse

    Good to go. Thanks everyone for your quick responses and advice. Back up and running.
