    popoff,

I have a clay bar just for the bugs. It works best of all things I've tried. I use it on the windshield, too. Pepboys have them. For this purpose, no need to worry about getting a quality bar.

Just keep molding it so that you have fresh clay against the car's paint and use lots of lubricant. There is no such thing as too much lubricant when claying. No need to but special sprays either. Just use an old spray bottle with a mixture of your car cleaning soap and water.

    Thanks Bobc

I've been using clay for years and know how well it works. I
just wanted to think there might be a magic solution that dissolved the bugs without removing the wax so I wouldn't have to rewax.

    Zaino - good stuff!

I just bought the Mr. Clean Autodry system, but due to rain here could not use it, glad to see it's gotten a favorable mention.
