Car won't start, help! "Transmission lock abnormal" (NHW20L)

I have a 2009 NHW20L (no idea which 'trim' that is).
I was sitting in the car for about an hour ... I think it was 'on' then suddenly it lurched forward about 2 inches and turned off.
After that it wouldn't start. Pusing power button caused one yellow light to flash (I think passenger airbag) for ½ a second, but nothing else.
Tried locking/unlocking, removing key, etc. Seemed 90% dead.
Then found a friendly passerby with cables, and tried jumping it.
But it wouldn't start and gave a warning like this (not my photo):


Did have enough power to switch it to Neutral, so I could push it over to some legal parking.

Now it's stuck there and won't power on.
