Cargo Room with seats down?

    Been searching for the answer to this but have come up empty so far.

    Does anyone know what the cargo room of the C is with the rear seats folded down?

    I don't think the numbers for that have been released yet, just the cargo capacity with the seats up.

    Anyone know the cargo room with seat down for the Prius C?

    I assume Toyota should have the number ready since the c is on sale now.

    I would assume around 35 cubic feet but not positive. It's adequate but not huge.

    Width is 38" at the wheel wells, 42" at the widest points.

    Length is 25" with seats folded up, 56-58" with seats folded down (depending on position of front seats).

    Height is 14" to the cargo cover, 16" to the top of the rear seatbacks, 26" to the roof of the car.

    So that's about 8 cubic feet with the seats up, 20 with the seats down and stacked as high as the windows, 34 with the seats down and stacked to the roof.

    If you're a musician, you can put a parlor guitar in sideways and a mic stand at an angle with the seats folded up. A larger guitar or a speaker stand requires at least one seat to be folded down.

    If you're a cyclist, you can fit a road bike with both seats folded down and the front wheel removed -- this is lying the bike on its side, not standing upright as I've seen with a Honda Fit.
