    Has CarMax gotten any better? I have a friend in AZ who is looking for a Prius II or maybe Prius V, and the local dealership doesn't even carry them. He needs a good used one in the $9-12 range. Can anyone suggest *reputable, honest* Toyota or Prius-specialist dealers who ship cars interstate?

    In Sept-Dec 2012 we had quite a few folks shipping Plugin Prius from back East to CA. Dianne Whitmire dealer here does shipping, I think. Someone could say who she uses.

    One option is an online dealership such as Carvana or Vroom. We bought our Prius through Carvana and had a great experience. However, AZ isn't in Carvana's delivery service area yet, so there would be an extra shipping cost (or Carvana reimburses up to $200 for a plane ticket to pick the car up within one of their service areas).     Looking at the Carvana cars, there are only Prius Cs in my friend's price range. No Prius IIs.
