Catalytic Converter stolen- 2005 prius

    Hello!

    The catalytic converter was stolen last night from my 2005 Toyota Prius. Replacements are super pricey and a friend offered to give me his converter from a 2002 Jeep Cherokee (he has been selling it for parts). I will look into this further but as a starter, do converters come specific to the car and model or are there generic types that can be attached to any car?

    Prius stolen

    Lots of good info and videos. Really bad in Ca.

    look at aftermarket converters and what cars they fit. do you have emissions testing?
