hey all. my cat got stolen, was replaced with an aftermarket.

i noticed when i went underneath the hood there were some hoses that were cut.

now, whenever i drive on the highway, or turn on ac, i get these really bad smell of burnt oil fumes. everytime i drive my car for at least an hour, i wake up with a. headache the following day.

i will try to upload a video to show the hoses that were cut

if you notice on the right side, there are two hoses that were cut

what do y’all think is happening?

I'm not aware of any hoses that would be that close to heat shield over the exhaust header... I think the problem you're having is the person who replaced with aftermarket had a shorter replacement cat than needed and its causing your flange gasket to leak where cat connects with the exhaust header. This usually means a slightly different sounding engine and the engine compartment will smell like a 1970's car that does not have a catalytic converter. If that's the source of the problem take it back and make them fix it because they failed on the first attempt.

The hose I see looks like the a/c drain. AKA: normal.
