When I plug in my 2015 PiP the charging light turns yellow to show it is charging and then a few seconds later there is a click in the CCID and the red triangle lights up and the car stops charging. Just took it into the dealer and they said it worked with their charging cable and then they used mine and it worked when I was there. Got it back home and it wouldn’t work. After trying multiple outlets I finally got it to work last night and got a full charge but today it is not working again. I took it apart and didn’t see anything loose but I’m not a mechanic or an electrician. Any ideas or will I just need to buy a new cable. PiP has 82k miles in it so the cable should still be good

the ease only has so many cycles in it, for whatever reason, but unless you're charging 10 times a day, i don't think you could have hit the wall yet.

if it were me, i would try some L2 units available commercially, and outlets away from home, to verify that the cable is dodgy.

Same thing happened when I tried a few different outlets at work today. I may have to end up buying a new one (I have seen the links on here) but was hoping not to if I didn’t have to.

call toyota customer service and ask for warranty assistance, this is very unusual.

weird that it worked for the dealer

Sounds like it might be a loose connection or broken wire in the EVSE.
