CCSE $1500 Rebate Status - Wondering how long

    I purchased my vehicle on March 15th and the application was submitted that same day. Documents were received on 3/24 and application was approved on 4/3.

    I know it says up to 90 days for the check to clear but did anyone else apply for the rebate in the month of March and received their check yet? I'm trying to gauge when it might arrive.

    Mine submitted 3/14, took about 3 weeks to get the approval. No check yet.

    Not that we're aware of.

    If you submitted an online application on or after March 28, 2014, you will receive your rebate check in September 2014.

    My application was approved about a week before (3/25). I have yet received the check.

    If you submitted your application and it was approved after March 28th. The checks won't be mailed out until September. I received an email stating this information when my application was approved on 5/3.

    I made it in the nick of time. I wasn't even in the market for a PHEV but just happened to come across them and bought it on the spot. Glad I did now that I look back.

    CVRP received my documents 3/17
    My application was approved 3/29
    No additional status updates since
    I am still waiting :(

    CVRP approved 3/31. "Check will be issued within 90 days of approval date."

    Still waiting. Doug, did you get yours yet or is status on the website still showing the same thing it did when you posted in May?

    Got my "application approved" email on March 21. "Check mailed" email on June 12, and I got the check on June 13.

    success. check received, cashed and proceeds submitted to Toyota. No car note for the next 6 months!

    Reviving this old thread instead of creating a new one.

    Has anyone in California who submitted their rebate after March 28 received an update? My tracking shows it hasn't been mailed yet.

    I got approval in August, but they said they're "waiting for funding" and won't issue checks until September...

    I knew it was a bait and switch.... I betcha the tax credit is BS too (AMT will negate any tax credits right?)

    The federal credit is not negated by AMT. A similar program a few years ago was, and sometimes even the IRS agents get confused about this. I am subject to AMT, and I had no problem claiming the federal credit. The delay for the state program was known since around March, and they have consistently stated that the money will resume in September. If October rolls around without any sign of the state rebates, then maybe there would be cause for concern.

    If you received an email confirmation from CVRP your free lunch will come rest assured. I did a few somersaults when mine arrived in 75 days.
