With this image I let my OCD get to me and I needed to know how old my hybrid battery pack was.

The bad module I replaced was created on 11/9/2005

I ordered one on Ebay $25 and was sent one from 6/10/2007

After going through the whole pack There is 17 modules from 2007
There is 9 modules from 2006
There is 2 modules from 2005

Looking at the invoice for the battery shows on 5/7/2018 @ 155,454 miles.
    $2,100 total

    I bought the car in 7/2018 @ 159,xxx*

12/12/2018 @ 170,079 was taken back because of codes pointing to the battery.

1/5/2019 @ 171,468 taken back for same codes and charged $50 for no reason but at this point I was done these thiefs and they had my key.

2/27/2018 @ 172,901 taken for the final time to that shop.

    Warranty expired on 5/7/2019

Here I am today only now with a fix that has me back on the road.
She is just over 182,xxx right now.

I age the battery pack as a whole to be about 14 years old.

We will see how long she last before the next module needs to be replaced.

Looks like your pack has been rebuilt not replaced with new. There's a great deal of confusion when people are selling their prius and say battery was "replaced" but too often it wasn't replaced with new, but with rebuilt which means instead of a decade or longer of life from new, you'll be lucky to get a few years.

Do you know who did the battery rebuild? Have you checked in with their warranty policy? Some rebuilders are extending their warranty to be more competitive.

That must be the low mileage one you mentioned.

Warranty is over already that is why I opened it up and swapped out a module, though they did mess it up.
Also I previously thought it was a Dorman but the lid says Cardone.

Good catch Sherlock, guess I can ask the seller to refund or send another module? Maybe it really is low mileage but just made in 2007?

I confirmed it with the seller and it has 75k miles on it.

Dont really care since it only cost $25
