I like my Priushoods Center Console cover
Toyota Prius 04-09 Center Console Cover
and it has lasted 4.5 years, but nothing lasts forever (particularly with me) so Prius2005CenterConsoleCoverWear.JPG I'm wondering if there's a better/more durable option than this faux 'leather'.

OTOH if I buy another, it will match my Priushoods armrests (which are still in mint condition).

I used automotive-grade vinyl from a junkyard Chevy S-10 seat. It's a lot thicker that other types of vinyl you might buy and it's obviously designed for automotive use. Being a bit thicker, it was harder to work with, but it came out good in the end.

E6000 is the glue I prefer for this application. No heat gun necessary, and clothespins make perfect clamps for this project.
